This limited edition Cocktail Set from Blenheim Forge brings the weight and presence of forged steel to the dark, polished edge of the bar. The trio includes a compact cocktail knife, a long mixing spoon, and a substantial forged muddler, each conceived not as decorative barware, but as serious tools for service.
The knife sits within Blenheim’s Dropforged handle series, developed in collaboration with Footprint Tools in Sheffield. Beginning as a solid bar of UK-made high carbon stainless steel, the handle is stamped under industrial drop hammers before being further shaped and refined in Blenheim’s own London workshop. The result is a single-piece construction that feels grounded and secure in the hand, balanced for quick, exacting work. At 175mm with a 35mm-tall heel, the blade is sharp, nimble, and easy to maintain, ideal for citrus, zesting, trimming garnishes, and the precise preparation that keeps a service flowing.
The spoon and muddler are likewise forged from single pieces of stainless steel and finished with a clean tumbled surface that retains the memory of the hammer while remaining refined against glass and crystal. The spoon’s length reaches comfortably into tall mixing vessels, while the muddler carries real mass, built to crush herbs and citrus with authority.
Each set is paired with a suede sleeve by Deptford leather maker Harry Owen, secured with a simple strap to keep everything contained between evenings.
There is something unmistakable about forged steel in the hand: the quiet confidence of weight, the soft glow of metal under warm light, the sense that every gesture has intention. Whether stationed behind a serious bar or brought out for a late-night martini, this set carries that presence. As far as we know, this small release is available only here in the United States.
