In the hills of rural Austria, woodcarver Maximilian Neukäufler begins with a single piece of local cherry, shaping it by hand with quiet intention. Every curve of this spoon–spatula hybrid—responsive, balanced, and endlessly versatile—bears the subtle marks of his traditional carving tools, a visible record of touch and time.
The handle is finished in Oceanwire acrylic: deep blue-green with fine, drifting streaks that evoke currents beneath the surface of water. Mineral-oiled to bring out the cherry’s natural warmth, each limited-edition KitchenBuddy becomes a companion for mixing, turning, serving—an heirloom utensil that moves with a poetic ease from kitchen to table.
