Description
Forged of a single piece of damascus steel at the hands of artist Jayden Simisky, those same hands which created the beautifully pattered material itself, comes a petty chef knife both refined and rustic, designed to use every day. Comfortable, lightweight and balanced in the hand, a metallic loop of Jayden’s swirling, random-pattern damascus tapers from back to front with contoured surfaces that offer control for precise work. In a size and profile with a wide variety of kitchen work squarely in its sights, the 155mm, Western-inspired petty chef profile sweeps upwards from a tall heel to a very fine, pointed tip, allowing the blade to both rock-chop on the board and perform long, delicate slices with ease. Throughout its length, Jayden has shaped tall, subtly convex bevels that culminate at a very thin, extremely sharp and capable edge. A one-of-a-kind kitchen companion in functional art form that invites conversation and creativity with every cut.
